Looking good in Shrine bowl practices. I think he will be the first Hoosier drafted this year. He has NFL talent. Rourke probably goes on day 3.

Awesome for Mr. West. A big part of our success this year.
As for Rourke, he dealt with so much this year and still excelled. If he has a 10 year career as a backup for 3 different teams...he will be financially independent, healthy and hopefully live a long life.
If he proves that his injuries really held him back this past year, and he ends up playing alot in the NFL...all the better.
West coming to IU help himself and especially IU. He showed what he could do against B1G talent and made our defensive front a stout group.
My prayer is that his replacements measure up. That will be key to our defense.
Yes, I agree completely. We had one of the best run defenses with his help and I am sure Kamara and others benefitted from his presence.
I saw the rosters to the Shrine game a few weeks ago and IU did not have anyone on them. I thought that was really odd. I see now that West and Wedig are on the East. Still surprised, though, that there are not more than just those two.

Wheeler looks to be a stud...maybe equal to West. When Western Kentucky played Alabama, Wheeler was stout.
