I know many are down right now but I wonder how many think IU can win and what it will take to win the game.
Defensively, contain their QB and not let him gain many yards running the ball. Find a way to disrupt their offense early on and keep it up all game. IU needs to keep creating take-aways but find a way to get INTs to stop Cincinnati's passing game. The defense looked like they are just one step away from really being good and getting to the ball to create plays that lose yardage.
Offense wasn't as bad as many thought as I watched the game again. There are things to clean up yet but Idaho isn't as bad as many here think they are. The defensive front was huge and the one DE was a quality player. Idaho had a very good LB with good speed and hitting ability. We need a good game plan to handle Cincinnati's pass rush and improved timing on pass routes to beat Cincinnati's very good cornerbacks.
IU will need another great game from the STs to get this win.
