Seems obvious that Mack violated internal standards for separating / terminating an employee which, given the recent issues at UL, the University is wise to enforce. It’s common practice in any company (public or private) that there things be conducted via a proscribed protocol, with multiple participants and extensive documentation. Mack blew through all of those red lights, a no no anywhere but probably a much graver transgression in the “he said” recent past of UL.

Forde has really slipped, by the way. The suggestion that many schools would’ve elected to bribe the briber is an easy but nonsensical stereotype, and he manages to offer no proof of it. Easy bait for the rabid and gullible.
