I don't have children, but I have friends that would like to come, but they don't know what they would do with their kids. Does one of the nearby churches do any youth activities before and during the game that parents could leave their children at?

These days I wouldn't leave kids with Anyone I didn't know well... Church run or not...

An extremely well vetted babysitter (preferably a family member) is the answer there...

Now the answer to your actual question is : not that I'm aware of...

I would bring someone to the game to take care of my children so you can someone to trust with your children and IU should have an area for kids to play in the stadium.

If you drop off toddlers to pre-teens on the East Side of Memorial Stadium, IU will put them to work for 3.5 hours hauling in beer to the concession stands.

In all seriousness, I don’t know of a single stadium in the country who offers child care on game days. IU was first and only program to have a kid’s playground in its south endzone. It was a terrible look.

I think an area inside the stadium not unsupervised outside would work or at least a place near the stadium. If you want to build a fan base IU needs to think outside the box in providing a good game day experience for all fans including young families.

That's the issue.....you take them, drop the at grandma's house or you don't go.

Then they start having their own Saturday activities and you really can't go.

They have multiple kid activity stations in the concourse, but i obviously would not recommend just leaving them there. :)

...and a loyal, staunch and passionate IU FAN...build the base, start with young kids...give away balloons, ice cream, footballs, helicopter rides...do something even if someone thinks it's stupid...
My parents could watch me from their seats in the west stands once they emerged from the Big Red Room.

They had binocs so they chould check me out after hitting the fence.

"That's not much blood"

Ah, the good ol days of "rub some dirt on it" and "everything stops bleeding eventually"... 🤣😂🤣😉

Amazing any of us survived... 😉 Although I guess I Do still have that chronic limp and a bit of a twitch... 😎🍺

My best friend was neighbors with an usher. Beginning at about age 12, he would give us pass outs so long as we would distribute some pass outs to his friends tailgating. After the “transaction” we would gain attendance for free through his gate. Did this for basically Randle El’s entire career. His mom would drop us off at 17th and pick us up 4 hours later. Been a degenerate ever since.

Win games is another way to build a loyal fan base. IU has yet explore this strategy.

Heck of a time to be there. Some of the most entertaining football I have seen even with the losses. ARE was the best.

I always took my kids. My daughter still loves to go and gets mad if I don’t take her. I took her to the Edgewood vs Washington during Tyler Zellers senior year. Cody was a freshman. She was 2 1/2 months old.

We took the kids to basketball games starting in about fourth grade but not football. It was just too long of a day, so waited until they asked to go in MS and HS.

If you leave them in the car in the parking lot make sure you leave the window cracked open and probably include water and food.

Note concept called sarcasm.

Tailgating with a football to throw and plenty of cold beverages all around will put hair on any kids chest.

It's Science.

Kilroy's is fairly lenient if you tip the doorman.

Oh, that's wrong. Never mind,

How about they watch the game? If they aren't old enough to sit and watch the game, leave them with a baby sitter.

Kids only do what they are allowed to do. Mine always liked going at any age. Especially my daughter. Started her early. Son loves going to football games.

My son's first Cardinal game was at 2+ years of age. He got bored. To be fair, I was kind of bored of a 1-0 game with 3 hits by the Mets and 4 from the Cardinals. He did better a few months later at a football game where he could walk around.

The point is if you are used to taking your kids with you everywhere, they learn, or you learn, how to keep them entertained.

It’s not perfect but the only way they learn or enjoy things is by taking them. My 14 year old daughter watched the 1997 IHSAA state championship last night. We never left our kids with anyone. They were always with us.
