Cash Herrera Flips to INDIANA

It will be interesting how the depth chart shakes out. Lots of players that were highly regarded or have shown promise

Fernando Mendoza (RS Sr) - if he doesn't go pro
Alberto Mendoza (RS So)
Tyler Cherry (RS Fr)
Cash Herrera (Fr)
Jacob Bell (RS Fr)
Maverick Geske (RS Fr)

If Fernando goes pro, it will be interesting if Cigs goes with Alberto (or another young QB) or brings in another older QB. Based on history, I'm going with the latter.

Cash's write-ups seem very similar to other recent addition.

Able to get the ball out quickly and throws with anticipation
A pocket passer that is mobile enough to escape

Sounds like what we have read about Fernando.

Seems like we may be able to narrow down to Cig's preferred type.

Agree, and on film, Cash seems taller than 6-3, more like 6-4. It's a big advantage to be tall as QBs must pass over taller lineman than in the past.

Per USA Today Sports: Cash Herrera visited Bloomgtn. over this past weekend, & spoke about his commitment to Indiana, "just learning about Coach Cig & their winning culture that they are building showed me a lot on the visit. Learning about the offense & school was big too. Meeting the coaches & players & playing mini-golf at Coach Cig's house were other highlights."
Herrera expanded upon why Indiana is the right place for him. "They run an offense that showcases my talents & they have a head coach that wins. The culture is great too. It is a great academic school for business as well."
