Geniuses on here saying you just need elite guards to make title runs… that bigs are a thing of the past.

It’s bedtime kids. Brute power is still a major part of this game.

Edey, Clingan, DJ… dominant freaking BIGS… I think every one of these rosters starts two bigs. Edey basically counts as two himself.

It’s about balance…. front AND backcourt threats. Post D… post buckets… rebounding… 3-point shooting… slashers… finishers… all part of the same game… top teams have it all.

Don’t read this as a defense of Woody’s approach though. IU does not have elite backcourt threats. Or reliable shotmakers from deep. Heck, the 3-ball as a shot itself is an afterthought. As we know.

Additional note, UConn not only has great balance, their off-ball movement, fluidity and depth sets them apart. Multi-dimensional. I think Clingan neutralizes Edey enough for them to win it. Easy pick here.
