Buzz Williams to Texas A&M

He was an assistant coach at A&M. So, while not on the same level as Kansas and North Carolina, this would not be too much different from the move Roy Williams made.

Seems like an ok dude,kids seem to like playing for him.
That might be a little harsh .... for anybody.
Basically runs the same stuff just doesn't clap as much and has normal skin tone. Tweaky Tweaker..
He's a better coach than Crean, which isn't saying much. He is more consistent and had a good run at Va. Tech. He's also a better coach than Archie.

You’re to sly. I couldn’t get you take the bait. You still won’t take a side on Archie. Are you running for office? Just for fun. Do you think Archie is a better coach than Buzz? I do like Archie’s name a lot more.

What side? We hired a good coach and gave him a bad roster. Reasonable people will allow a good coach time to assemble his team and get his first young recruits past their freshman year before wanting him fired.
We can only fire Crean once for the piss poor job he did. Let's not punish Archie for the the state we let the program fall into before he arrived.
Side is a poor word choice. I was needling T.M.P. I’ve consistently stated Archie should get 3 years. You and I just disagree on Archie as a coach. Also, I don’t think our roster was bad this year. I think they were poorly coached and underperformed because of it.
1000+ I'd hit the like button - if possible.
It's good to see there are SOME reasonable, educated members of this forum.
Let's have a discussion then. Archie isn't a good coach and won't ever win a title at IU. You go. What's your opinion? Also, Iubud still thought Crean was a good coach in 2015.
You do realize I replied to T.M.P. who made an “anti-Crean” post that wasn’t remotely on topic either? I also want to be crystal clear that all anti-Crean posts are welcomed.

) but I’ll try to address my side later this evening. Be prepared: it will be a long read.I mostly agree with you. I think Miller has performed poorly so far, at least relative to my expectations. I'm not fully convinced that he's not capable of doing a great job at IU yet though.
Of course, our opinions are meaningless etc, etc, but, that being said, I'm doubtful that Arch can fully win me back as a fan in just one season at this point. He could probably lose me forever with another underwhelming season next year. A bubble team next year will not suffice.

I agree. I’ll change my outlook if Archie is able to put together a top 20 team next year. We should have just as much talent (or close enough) as every team in Big Ten besides Michigan and MSU (assuming Edwards and Bruno leave).
We started 2 freshmen, 2 sophomores and an undersized senior post player. You must have noticed a few injuries including a bench for one game of Anderson, Forrester, Moore and Fitzner.
The young part of our roster will be very good in 2-3 years with additional players. You need to sit back and wait for it to happen. Get off Archie's back unless there is good cause to do it.
