At 8am this morning i was outside of cook hall. Bryson Tucker was walking in i said "whats up" just being polite. He said "not much just going to meeting with the coaches" is there a chance he might be back? Seems odd he would be having a meeting with the coaches if they arent still recruiting him to stay.

I hope not. I do not want any of woodson's players back.

Bah, humbug! I hope Tucker comes back. Hell, I wish we still had MgBako. He was a stud just waiting to happen, despite what others have said to mask their disappointment.
That is just me. I want totally fresh clean start.

Man this would be very good news if we can keep him. Might be a tough sell though. Knowing he most likely wouldn't start this year. But a big bag of cash might solve that problem.

he was going to Maryland before Willard left. I'd take him back in a heartbeat, his dad had a falling out with Woodson, Bryson is a good kid

Put me in the “I want him back” camp. Think there is potential there, he had an up and down yr, as so many freshman do, and like to see what a good coach can do. Still remember all the good things that were said about him when he first came to IU. Smart on/off the court, good background, has a mid range game. Obviously the dad/Woodson falling out was not good but the fact that he is willing to go see coaches about something I think is a good sign

Mgbako is far from a stud. Won’t guard, slow footed, unwilling rebounder, no handles, loose ball would still be rolling if he had to get it. Nice but streaky shot is only real strength.

Tucker showed flashes of the player he can be. We saw Mgbako at his best. A great deal of upside for Tucker.

A year from now if you were to poll NBA scouts I would wager it would be a near-unanimous vote that Tucker will be playing in the NBA in the future, after he graduates, and that Mgbako might catch on with some European team.

Woodson’s sin, among many, is that he didn’t know how to work with and develop Tucker. I’d say that DeVries and his staff will be able to develop Tucker into a very good, tall wing.

I guess in theory he could come back he has been in the portal awhile and I have not read about him setting up any visits. But same for keenan carylye and I really do not want him back

Carlyle, I believe, has listed a top 3. Mid majors basically.
