I'm hoping for a bigger 2nd half of his season.

Comparing his IU stats to his Butler stats, he's down 9 % points in both FG% & FT%. On the other hand, his rebounding totals are way up.

I realize his role is different, but if he can shoot 64% (like last year) on his FTs the rest of the way, and shoot 56 or 57% the rest of the way (62% last year at Butler), it could be very big for this team. I think it's doable.

As much as I love the kid's story and admire his efforts, I am starting to wonder if my Butler buddies aren't too far off. Have you seen their bigs play this year? They think we got the guy that was destined for the end of the bench. Damn.

FG percentage can be affected by the offense so with IU not having good outside shooters to open up the inside, I'm not surprised his FG percentage is down. Disappointing that his FT percentage has taken such a large drop.

I don't want to believe that. Pretty damning of our program if we really are taking Butler castoffs - and they're starting. Besides the obvious, that's why I am pulling like crazy for the kid to become the next Kent Benson.

He’s been a solid player for IU. Glad we have him.

Hookshots, Joey. You will never be able to outjump 'em.

Don't think their bigs are any better.

Brunk has grit and he plays his ass off. Hope his attitude and toughness can inspire others on this IU team.

It would help if we had guards who could get the ball to him in the low post when he is open and get it to him when he can get himself in rhythm to take his shot.
