Every time Purdue got within 10 points, I got an uneasy feeling...an anxious feeling, if you will. Purdue fumbled a second time close to the goal line and I thought we had dodged another bullet when they cut away to commercials. I went away from feeling angst to feeling relief and excitement. When they came back from the break, there was Purdue throwing for a touchdown. I couldn't believe the cruelty to the emotions that the network caused me.
There were multiple other times during the telecast where the cameraman was slow and action was missed due to lateness. I do give them credit though for highlighting the "Purdue stomp job" and calling their player out. They also showed multiple slow motion replays of the one particular unnecessary roughness out of bounds where the IU player was shoved into the practice kicking net. Purdue fans deserved to feel ashamed for their players lack of control. It was a dark day for Purdue football...not the darkest, but dark. The light of God's grace was there to be shown on the men in white. Thank you, IU football team - players and coaches. You did us proud!
