Other than the student section, which is one of the best in the country, the crowd was dead. My wife and I sat in the 4th row behind the students in the corner adjacent to the IU bench. Didn’t have to stand a single time and the ONLY time the place got truly loud was during end of game crucial free throws. And I’m not certain that wasn’t just for the chicken nugget promo!! It was 10x louder at SSAH last Saturday for the IU-Mich game. Reminded me of 2 things. SSAH is a treasure regardless of anyone’s opinion on the structure and IU fanbase is absolutely #1 in America. The way we support this turd of a program after all these years deserves the reward of a winning program again.
