Boogie Fland

This is all so funny to me. Yesterday we had an "insider" tell us he already told IU's coaches he was coming here. Now other "insiders" flip him to UK late in the night. Wasn't it just a few weeks ago everyone in the world had some kid going to Memphis and he ended up putting an LSU hat on?
Drake money

Per Trilly. Ugghhh!

Ultimately, we believe John Calipari’s history of sending guards to the NBA was the difference. Mike Woodson’s New York ties and recent success in developing pros made this a 50/50 decision until the very end. If you would’ve asked us a week ago, Indiana would’ve been the prediction.

Queen’s commitment would certainly be salve on the wound of losing Boogie to pUKe. The only thing worse would be losing him to PUke at the last minute. Queen’s coming would make us forget Boogie, but likelihood of that happening has always been in order of announcement, McNeeley, Fland, Queen.
Oooops

“A message from one of our sources in New York on Tuesday of this week gave us pause. We were told there was a split decision in his camp and this would come down to the wire. By Wednesday, our Indiana sources started to waiver.”

So “something” turned the tide on Tuesday…

He also wanted to commit Monday but logistics made it Friday.

Seems so or the Indiana sources were just really optimistic before but Kentucky might have been as well. Hard to say.
