Expressing……not believing.

Well, the 10th Commandment is a thought crime, so...I guess all of them?
The IU fans predicting a loss of any size are simply being realistic.Who is nervous and triggered? Just read this thread. Many IU fans here are posting that the score difference in Purdue's favor will be large. Given that and who they are, you are now going to claim that it is the Purdue fans that are anxious? As a general rule, fans of a particular team are supporters and thus tend towards optimism. I have yet to read a Purdue fan expecting an IU win on Friday. That doesn't mean that it can't happen, but it is certainly not expected. You are simply kidding yourself if you think that is true.
I don’t know what this means.
the point was made that merely 'believing' what you wish is a freedom in every country.
I'm merely pointing out that our religious system here, namely E Christianity, is all about punishing people who DON'T believe aka a "thought crime", I guess? Are we really free to believe what we want here?
I know - no politics etc. on free board...but the idiocy needs to pointed out again and again.
Are there any great coaches you left out that you want to compare Painter to? Red Auerbach, Coach K, Vince Lombardi, Knute Rocke? I'm sure it took them all 25 years to do anything as well.Gross misrepresentation of my post but that is fairly standard for you. Perhaps I am being too harsh, given your difficulties with logic, it is quite possible that you cannot properly understand the sentence in context. You might deserve a pass.
I love it when people try to look smart by saying something that looks smart...but then butcher the application.Try reading up on the Aristotelian Law of the Excluded Middle.
You twist what was posted. Are there any great coaches you left out that you want to compare Painter to? Red Auerbach, Coach K, Vince Lombardi, Knute Rocke? I'm sure it took them all 25 years to do anything as well.
Just out of interest, how do you know if anyone has been banned from another board? Or is this just an example of you making things up? Is there an announcement of that?BTW folks, if you have forgotten....
@apm1003 here is the former troll @arcb102000 until he was banned for (really) bad behavior.
He was also laughed off his own board for criticizing a pu player to his mother who posted there as well as trashing (personally) two IU players that the pu Mom knew and loved since early age ball.
She shredded this turd publicly and he was banned from his own board.
One of your own told me after you got dog walked by a player's Mom. maybe he lied.Just out of interest, how do you know if anyone has been banned from another board? Or is this just an example of you making things up? Is there an announcement of that?
Was this him too?One of your own told me after you got dog walked by a player's Mom. maybe he lied.
Let's boil it down. How many other P4 schools are making calls to Painter when they make a coaching change? Anyone? Why might that be?You twist what was posted.
You believe that you can foretell the future with accuracy when you cannot, nor can anyone else.
Let's review some of your assurances:
1. Purdue will never make a Final Four.
2. Edey will never get drafted.
3. If Edey does get drafted, he won't play a minute in the NBA.
4. Edey has no NBA future.
You have made each of these on this board (many, many times for some of them) and you and other readers know it to be true. Each has been proven to be wrong.
You then simultaneously criticize Painter's coaching because of how long it took him to get to a Final Four while posting that getting to one is not indicative of coaching skill. That is inherently contradictory. You did it in this very thread.
The simple fact is that because Painter is actively coaching, neither you or anyone else, knows how many Final Fours he will reach over his career. That will be determined when he stops coaching. The example of Wooden was simply to point out that how long it takes you to get there and how many that you ever go to are not well-correlated so that your point in that is meaningless. You could also cite Hodges of Indiana State who made a Final Four in his first season and never saw another, the exact opposite of Wooden.
What is humorous is that you never seem to adapt after your predictions are in error. I hope for your sake that you are not placing wagers on them as you'll end up broke, if not there already.
