I firmly believe that if IU played their best 4 quarters of football they could win any game on their schedule. Sad to say, nothing this season suggests they can play 4 crisp quarters in a row.

Interesting fact - the last 3 "covers" for IU against FBS competition were all spreads where they didn't cover the opener, but covered the closing line. Michigan is the latest (opened -20.5, closed -23), previous was Illinois (opened IU -6, closed PK), and Maryland last year (opened +3, closed +3.5).

IU has now failed to cover the opener against their last 17 FBS opponents, dating back to the Outback Bowl vs Mississippi. Will be interesting to see what they put out for the Maryland game, I made it Maryland -11.
