Baton Rouge-LSU

Two: Tiger Stadium is awesome. I went to ND-LSU in 1997 with my dad. We were on the LSU sideline. Great trip.

Wow- just wow - hopefully we will have a dedicated team to improve the in game experience- was at the ND game and it was clear how far we are behind and everyone said “you should experience an SEC game - appears to be true.

Anybody have an idea when IU will tear down and replace that Cracker Jack box they call our press box?

When I see recruit photos on the field with that in the background, it’s a university eyesore. They have to demolish that thing and build something that stretches Endzone to Endzone.

Rebuilding the press box is probably $20M and a big suite project would be $75M+. Money doesn’t grow on trees and the ROI probably isn’t there yet.

IU just spent a ton on the staff, NIL is way up from where it was two years ago, and now the $22M rev share has to get funded. I can see why the press box can wait.

At some point that thing needs renovating, but we have a lot of good players who don’t seem to care.

We've got to crawl before we can walk.

Last season is the first time in decades we started consistently selling out, so I guess we're "crawling."

Now that we've actually got people at games we can improve the gameday. I agree it could be much better, but it will take some time. Comparing us to LSU isn't really fair -- they have 100 years of FB culture, probably the best gameday in CFB, and an incredible 4th quarter tradition. But, regardless, we should keep pushing to get better.
