The easiest fix is either moving M$U & MI to the West and IL and pu to the East (but you'd have to protect the two last game rivalry games between MI & O$U and NW vs IL with those moves; or..., you could just move pu to the East and M$U to the West (giving them a protected crossover game vs MI). Why leave out other valuable pieces of that article? Ohio State didnt miss the playoffs the last 2 years because of the tough east beating up on each other, in fact they've dominated the east. They missed out because they were blown out by teams in the WEST!!

I often visit many boards of teams in the B1G east and don't hear them complaining about the current set up. It seems like you guys are just bitter. Michigan State is on the same level as iowa, very good program but not at the level of osu and mich.They went frickin 3-9 a few years ago, when is the last time osu, mich or penn State did that? Nebraska Minnesota and Purdue all have excellent young coaches that have their programs on the rise while iu has slipped back to 5 wins seasons since Wilson departed. Like the article stated this is mere rhetoric coming from certain media outlets.

The people making these decisions don’t seem to have a problem with the current alignment which is not surprising.
They need to be realigned but that would require some effort and research by these people but we are right in the middle of golfing season so it ain’t happening.
