The Big Ten is bringing its postseason baseball tournament back to Omaha in 2016 and 2018 after the event's record-breaking success six months ago at TD Ameritrade Park.
The conference announced Tuesday afternoon that the College World Series host site will hold the league's eight-team tournament twice in the next four years. The Big Ten is already under contract with Minneapolis' Target Field for the 2015 event. The 2017 dates were not made available to the league, according to commissioner Jim Delany.
