Could the US deport illegals to Gitmo and have immigration judges administer due process either a) via zoom, or b) have a judge be on site?

I don't know for sure, but I suspect that would be okay moving forward. But due process is no longer the issue. SCOTUS has ruled he must be brought back. This is now a separation of powers/checks and balances issue.

Good question. It would depend on the wording of the order, but you may have just found the loophole that would allow everyone out of this!

I looked and found the answer is no. But a US territory could work. However, plane would probably "disappear" over Bermuda triangle. Kinda like Nord 2 shockingly blew up.

I looked and found the answer is no. But a US territory could work. However, plane would probably "disappear" over Bermuda triangle. Kinda like Nord 2 shockingly blew up.

All they gotta do is fly him to a detention center in Miami, tell SCOTUS they have him back on US soil, and then ask for the hearing to expedited. Of course, at this point, there's probably nothing they can do to fix it, because they've already f*cked it up so badly. But that's what they could have done at the beginning if they weren't so stupid and arrogant.

Yeah....GITMO is just a military base (one of hundreds) on foreign soil. Certainly would not qualify as being within the country.

The Administration has no interest in resolving this because it’s turned into a political golden goose. Deflects from all Trump’s far more important failures, feeds the rabid MAGA illegals haters, and is seemingly bolstering Trump’s favorabilities.
