Question - was the game sold out last night? It appeared on TV there were some open seats in the corners of the lower sections. I didn’t see any shots of the balcony. I will say it sounded on tv like the fans were into it with a lot of support.

Couple observations.

Very good win by IU. Proud of how they competed. They have come a long way since last year. Still have plenty of work to do. We need RP to get healthy and back on the court.

I was thrilled for Damezi Anderson when he hit the big three. Not only for obvious reasons that it helped IU. But this was the biggest shot of his IU career. I thought he was as as good defensively as I have seen him all year. I hope he continues to contribute.

Justin Smith had a questionable drive going to his left in the lane that did not look good and didn’t end up well. He had an opportunity to drive the ball in a similar fashion several possessions later and pulled the ball back out. I thought it showed considerable maturity and growth in his game. JS has limitations for sure but he is doing a good job for the most part playing within himself. Good for Justin and I appreciate what he brings to the table.

Devonte hit some big shots and appears to be our go to guy on the perimeter. He has come a long way in 4 years.

I wanted to see TJD against a quality opponent. He controlled the paint and was a problem for FSU all night. He already is pretty darn good but he has a lot more upside that I hope we get to see him fulfill while he is in the cream and crimson.

Another poster talked about Mike Roberts getting on Damezi concerning D. He seems like he's a guy that's willing, but needs to be frequently "reminded".....almost like he's absent-minded sometimes......could maybe benefit from counseling/consulting/training on how to stay focused.........

After last night I'm more concerned that TJD could be a OAD......yikes, he was good.

Attendance reported as 17,222, which is capacity. Balconies were fairly full. Upper corners of student side were not full. Think they should decrease student tickets and give more to faithful, supportive Hoosiers who feel that going to a game at Assembly Hall is kin to a sacrament.

There were seats on seat geek for last night's game going for $11/seat on the main level and $3 for a balcony.

If we beat Wisconsin you won’t be able to get into assembly hall below face value the rest of the year. Winning and a ranking by your name makes people show up.

We saw those empty seat and it was a big block. Strange to have nobody sprinkled in the middle of the area.

It was a later start that would be good for people like me in the central time zone during the week but not as good for those in Indy or the eastern time zone.

The only way TJD goes pro is he will have to develop a consistent 15-18 ft. jumper at his height. I see him leaving after soph year at IU.

Thanks for the feedback. Hopefully the Hall is at full capacity the remainder of the season.
