At what age are you to old

I hit 40 way back and thought I looked stupid in one. Plus they had shrunk the sizes!

Started wearing polo style school logo stuff. Although a school sweatshirt works great for hockey games up here.

But wear what you want. I know men around my age, seniors, who wear one and they look fine. It's a hoot.

If wearing another man's name on your shirt=cuckoldry.

Imagine taking your girlfriend or wife to a ballgame while branded with another dude's name and screaming for that dude in a highly unbecoming way. Guarantee that guy is losing his girl.

Jerseys with players names should only be worn if the player is your son or dad.

Or a backwards hat?

What about sweater vests?
I hung on to those for years in th closet. Always thought they might make sense for morning winter golf in FL. After about 9 years of collecting dust they went bye bye. I assume they were sold by Goodwill as an early 2000's casual Friday Halloween costume.

I’m 41 and The only jerseys I wear are those of retired legendary players. I’ve made the mistake before of buying a players jersey and they either quit too early(Luck), get the injury curse, or get traded right after I buy it! Never again will I make that mistake! I’ ll wear my Peyton Manning jersey that I got right when he was drafted till it starts disintegrating! Reggie Miller is another I’d proudly wear still. Bob Sanders got too injured after I bought his, Jermaine O’neal, Marshall Faulk got traded right after I got his. I still have an Edgerrin James and Reggie Wayne Jerseys. It’s also nice that IU basketball jerseys don’t have names on the back, so I can rep whatever number.

At 62 I use to wear NFL & MLB jerseys to work on Casual Friday. Had many younger co-workers offering me money to buy the ones I was wearing. Soon retired after that and all my jerseys have sat in my closet since. I also have old baseball jerseys. I and a friend would buy the IU tight football jerseys at the IU Surplus store ... but you can barely get them on and if you do, you can't get them off. I have a Ramsey #12 IU jersey. (came with no name on back)

Before the NFL and MLB shut them down, we had a jersey source in China. Came with the official holograms, serialized and sitting next to a Reds jersey I bought at the stadium ... looked identical. Cost was $25 and express shipping was included. Those damn jersey would be in my mailbox in Bloomfield Indiana with 4-6 days from China !!! 😄

I'd say the rule is that you can always wear a jersey if the player represented is from your era. If you are 70 and you want to wear a Jim Brown jersey, go for it.
What I don't like seeing are 55 year olds wearing Anthony Richardson jerseys. Wear your Billy Brooks or don't wear one.

In fact I am 72 and have a white Jim Brown jersey, 3/4 length sleeves. LOL

I don't think it's a matter of age, but whether the Jersey fits. Nothing worse than a balding guy over 50 trying to wear a Jersey that fit Him in his 20's and is now 3 sizes too small and 2 sizes too short. and that's the guy Who always has the fashion sense to pair the jersey with a pair of form fitting shorts He had to shoe horn into, Orthopedic Socks, and Shoes with Ortho Inserts.
