If true..., all the pressure in the galaxy would be on Day and "the" o-h-i-0 $$tate u. 😉😎

If we can find a way to jump on them early their own fans will turn on them... THAT would solve the crowd noise problem...

I just don’t see them dropping PSU back that far and punishing them for playing the extra game. Yet, as I pointed out in another thread, we have no clue. With that in mind, this writers opinion is of no more significance than anyone else's opinion. Just some more slop on the wall that they hope sticks to generate clicks.

Our OC needs to understand how to counter the blitz or IU's offense will be dead in the water. There are ways to counter the Blitz but losing a route or more is better than having no time to throw.

PU had a couple of sacks early, & I was worried about our blocking scheme. But we adjusted & no further sacks occurred. I feel between Bostad & Shanahan we have it figured out.

That option seems the most popular this morning. It takes care of the B10 has too many teams and IU hasn't played anyone narrative.

True, we adjusted against PU caliber players. I imagine the guys who play D-line, LB & DB for OSU are another level of speed, strength, athleticism & awareness than their counterparts at PU.

I’m not taking anything away from our players or coaching. I believe our coaches are capable of making adjustments, but the effectiveness of those adjustments will look very different from PU to OSU. I also believe we’re simply outmatched vs a team like OSU. We can’t afford stupid shit like dropping a snap, or blowing coverage on a punt return. I understand that sometimes dropped snaps and kickoff/punt returns for TDs happen, they just can’t happen against OSU. OSU can score enough without all that.

Do I believe we could beat OSU? Yes. It would take a just-this-side-of-perfect game from us, but yes.

ESPN's predictor writers have Ohio State anywhere from 6th to 10th. 11 writers, 3 have us vs Ohio State, 3 vs Texas, 2 each Notre Dame or Tennessee, and one vs Penn State.
Yeah but some of those guys have us going ahead of Ohio State and Tennessee. Some have Boise as a 12 seed while ASU and Clemson getting the byes. Literally impossible options.

LOL, that's funny. I didn't notice, I only scanned Indiana's spot and then who the opposing predicted seed was.
I was looking over them this morning and thought..."Its not that these people don't watch college football but their picks were so bad they can't possibly even watch sports at all!"

IU at Notre Dame would be awesome. I would not want to play Ohio St in the first game. They are going to be dialed in and out for blood in the first game. JMO.

Those guys are checked out looking at their NFL draft slots or next NIL deal. I wouldn’t be shocked to see Ohio State guys sit out.

I'm talking this page?

I don't see any with Boise as 12 or some of the other wrong stuff.

Then you didn't pay attention to Ward Manual. No idle team can fall behind or pass another idle team. Multiple people have IU ahead of Ohio State or Tennessee. Neither is an option. Meaning its not even possible to have those take place.

Secondarily, Clemson is not going to pass Boise State. Boise is #10 and Clemson #17. Boise isn't falling out of the top 10 and Clemson isn't getting onto the top 10. Rankings still matter, they rank the teams first, then they select the top 4 conf champions, based on the rankings, to slot them each in. The 5th best is guaranteed to be in but if they aren't ranked higher than 11, they're guaranteed to be #12. Clemson isn't passing Boise or ASU so unless they push SMU to the last seed or somehow take them out of the playoffs (won't happen) then Clemson is a lock for the #12 seed.
