Are balcony ticket holders going to be able take elevators instead of the stairs to their seats after the renovation is complete?
If they can, I imagine the lines will be very long and annoying . . .Are balcony ticket holders going to be able take elevators instead of the stairs to their seats after the renovation is complete?

They will still need to have elevator access. I don't see that changing. I am curious about the escalators replacing the ramps and how that will work. The fastest way out of the building from the main level has always been to take the stairs next to the elevator. I am looking forward to everything being completed. I am not looking forward to the name change. Are balcony ticket holders going to be able take elevators instead of the stairs to their seats after the renovation is complete?
I thought I read that they will still have the ramps as well as the escalators. They will still need to have elevator access. I don't see that changing. They tore out the old ramps. It didn't look like they were replacing them.I thought I read that they will still have the ramps as well as the escalators.
So does this mean that when the AH "redo" is finished, fans will be getting the shaft?Assembly hall was built with 4 elevator shafts, but never used all of them. 3 will now contain an elevator.
I thought I read where they were keeping the ramps but adding the escalators but I guess I was wrong. They tore out the old ramps. It didn't look like they were replacing them.
Why does the name change bother you? Many buildings on campus are named after someone, and she gave $40 million just for the heck of it. It's not a church...it's an arena. And it will still have Assembly Hall in the name. They will still need to have elevator access. I don't see that changing. I am curious about the escalators replacing the ramps and how that will work. The south lobby ramps are gone. There will be two sets of escalators with staircases (one on each side of the lobby). The north lobby, I believe, will still have at least one ramp. I know they are adding escalators on the north side too, and they said a ramp will remain, but I'm not exactly sure how that will work.I thought I read where they were keeping the ramps but adding the escalators but I guess I was wrong.
You already can. There are two elevators that will take you to the balconies. They are adding a third. Are balcony ticket holders going to be able take elevators instead of the stairs to their seats after the renovation is complete?
