Son in law got a tough diagnosis. Stage 4 adrenocortical carcinoma. Started chemo immediately. Step by step now. Need a miracle. If you ever had a wisp of faith, please pray for him, my daughter, their daughter and his physicians.

Very quick. Headaches and tummy pain sent him to a minor care center, which disclosed dangerously-high BP, and testing showed tumors on adrenal gland, liver and lungs. Started chemo immediately. Need it to stop the growth and buy time for next step.
Fcking hell. Praying hard floor. Praying hard. I’m going to lose my pop here in the next few weeks to colon cancer. He’s not young like your sil so different world but this fcking cancer. That’s where our money needs to go. Fix this shit!!!!

Looked it up. Tough diagnosis but not hopeless. You, your daughter, grand daughter and sil are all in my prayers.
I’m so sorry to hear this heartbreaking news. There’s nothing that prepares us and there are no words that provide true comfort. Just know you have all of our support, prayers and a place to let all that’s inside of you out. We’ll be with you every step that you need. Best to your son in law and the entire family.

At least consider blood pressure checks at drug stores/grocery stores, Cologuard at age 40 (or as early as insurance will pay) and annual blood tests/lab panel.

Its amazing what ones body can endure.

I've gone through multiple rounds of Chemo, Trail Drug Regimes, Radition and cutting edge gene therapy and I can still whip my weight in wildcats (but I dropped 32 lbs during treatment 😉)... and am still breathing... (because I had so many friends and family members Praying for me).
My personal prayer has always been simple: "Your Will Be Done"
That's saved me in the middle of an avalanche, in several lightening storms tied to wet ropes on mountainsides, and in hospital beds when I thought I was close to the finish... It might help him too...

Radiation Therapy although scary to consider can be so specifically targeted this days as be very helpful... I should have added it to the mix sooner rather than later... You just need to seriously consider the side effects relative to what's being irradiated... //

prayers to your family, seek the best care, Cleveland clinic literally saved a loved one's life when the locals pretty much gave up.
Generalizing but md Anderson will go beyond what many will if you can get our system to cooperate
