I would have been skeptical. I still find it mind boggling that someone would think that Tweet was in the party's interest.

There are a lot of STUPID people out there and they do things based on emotion without thinking. Look at the people who rushed the capitol building on Jan 6th.... get caught up in the emotional part and never stop to think they might get into trouble. Like the ole lynch mobs of the wild west.... don't look at facts.

A party doesn’t run a Twitter account. A few people in a comms department do. And in the Fortune 500 companies in which I have worked, the Comms people are the wokest of the woke. It’s quite possible - likely even - that the tweet was very real and was retracted when the adults in the party caught wind of the backlash.

My guess is you are correct. The Hickories and Outside Shooters are running the Twitter account and this is what you get.

I completed my military service 66 years ago. I know the meaning of the red stripes and the oath I took then and have upheld ever since. My reference was specifically directed to the J6 hoodlums.
