Arrinten Page 6-9 SO Ucincinnati....

He avg a half a block per game while just getting 9 mins. If he got 27 mins per game and added experience, he could be a good rim protector.

According to what Cavanagh says about Adams, we don't want him scaring off our recruits. :D

I'm hoping we're the reason some of these Cincinatti players are entering... Can always hope.

I looked at 6'8" Tyler Betsey; 6'6" Daniel Skilling; 6'11" Arrington Page; 6'6" Josh Reed; and 6'7" Rayon Griffith. All except Reed were top 80 or better ranked recruits coming out of HS. None did much this year. Skilling was coming off an injury. Not sure any are worthwhile but don't know their stories.

Re: recruiting players to fill out the roster......We'll see soon whether CDD is a Tom Allen type searching for unrealized potential, or a Cig type looking for solid production at a lower level of competition........or a little bit of each.

What is his track record in that regard? I would not really expect him to change his approach very much.

Could be a great building piece. Adams should be involved I'd think.

He only played 9 minutes/game at USC and 11/game at USC as a true freshman.

He was behind a guy at Cincy (Bandaogo) who played 26M/game and wasn't all that effective himself. Looks like Page may have played so little because he was really ineffective on O. However, his #s for every 40M played aren't that at 15.7/10.2/2.1.

The good news if we got him would be that he has 2 years to play; the bad news if we got him is he has 2 years to play. Hard to see him as a 30M/game guy if he came here.

Kind of a strange time to consider guys like Page. If we had a fairly established roster, even a few more starter/All B10 level guys committed, then Page might be the perfect type of big we should go after. Long, athletic, multiple years to realize potential... Its difficult to get excited about a Page like guy, even Enright...without the better guys we'll need to be as competitive as we want and should be next year.

Agree with that.
