This gave the movement a national and world leader who didn't play by the conventional rules, He led by not kowtowing to Congress and placed his administration above the bureaucracies which he referred to as the swamp. Trump instead demanded political loyalty to him from key bureaucrats. Trump called this giving power back to the people.

Think of this as having the Oval Office being a tower high above the swamp with the swamp cut off from a country run by state governments.

Giving his accumulated wealth to charity puts him way over the top in my book. If the 10 or 15 wealthiest Americans would commit their fortunes to helping the least among us we could solve many of this country’s problems and inequities. Oh but that’s just too much blue sky.
