Yeah, as the OP, I was not saying it was the best game I ever saw because of the many missed shots. But what stood out was the max effort by every player on both sides in n every play. Loved that part of the game.
Cal can coach. I don't think he's as good as advertised. When Self went zone, his team and him were lost.

If you’re saying he can recruit as a coach I agree, but not on the floor. That’s been shown over and over and over again. Plus, his assistants talk more off the bench about X’s and O’s and to the players than he does.

He had the best recruiting classes year after year in the country. And quite often seemed like he couldn’t get them to play as a cohesive team.
Those boys can play. Wouldn’t be surprised if they get further. Thought the same after watching them in the first game. They have everything
