IU has tradition and a lot of people that care about the program. However, the most important piece is the coach. If you don't have the right coach, you don't have anything. Bob Knight didn't go to a Final Four every year. IU fans expect to be consistently good and a contender.

That is pretty close. Cupps was the better defender right up to the point he went down and with his ability to see/run the floor and leadership skills my belief was legitimate at that time.

Since then Cupps shooting did not improve a lick and he is hurt. Moze has continued to be a good shooter and his defense has improved.
