Anybody watching the Pacers today?

I am watching with my youngest grandson. Yesterday we watched the Cubs game and they won so I view him as a good luck charm. Go Pacers. Now this is not off topic because Thomas Bryant went to IU.
Nice weekend for you and your grandson. You must have married very very young. :)

The topic of your OP, is yourself, as always .. The most common word you use is "I", which starts your first sentence, as always.

It’s a given that the OP is pretty basic, but he is pointing out a hometown team that looks like it could be pretty dangerous in these play offs. It’s better than another poster that wants to take bets that Mbako could even sniff a minute in that league.

Some posters are heart driven. Others, full on rhatard.

A couple thoughts about the Pacers as they start the playoffs:
1) I'm very intrigued what Mathurin and Walker can add to this years playoff team. I think they will bring us so toughness we lacked last year especially on the defensive end and rebounding.
2) I'm a little concerned about the backup center position. If you recall last year they benched Jalen Smith (he went through a shooting slump towards the end of the season) and started playing Isiah Jackson. Jackson was more than serviceable. He brought toughness, some inside points, rebounding and blocked shots. He was sort of a poor mans Dale Davis. This year our backup is Thomas Bryant. We all know about Thomas. Great motor and energy, but these day's he likes to hang around the three point line a little too much for my liking. Id be fine if he didn't take another 3 pointer this season. We have plenty of shooters for that role. We need offensive rebounding and the occasional inside scoring. He needs to be an assett when Turner needs a break. At times the offense slows when he's looking for his outside shot.
3) Nembhard as always is a key player. When he plays well so do the Pacers. He's fearless and can take the ball to the basket and plays great defense.
4). If Neismith and Obi are hitting shots man we are really hard to beat. Just so many options for our team. It makes Hali so much better when he's handing the ball of to players who can complete the play.
5) I love the defensive energy we're bringing this year. We will never be a great defensive team, we just need to be slightly above average.
6) Last year we gave away games. We can't afford to be stupid. If we cut out the dumb plays we can go far.

Yea I know many of these points are obvious , but it's exciting the playoffs are upon us.

One last thing. These playoffs will make it much more clear regarding the free agent decisions the Pacers will need to make this summer. Will they keep Turner? Can they trust the improvement of Walker and Benny? Is Obi's salary preventing him from staying a Pacer if we re-sign Turner? Who will step up these playoffs may answer many of these questions.

merry easter vpm, nice that you and lucy get to spend quality time together, but the cubs suck, go pacers

You have this weird obsession with VPM. Everyone on here can see it, except you ofcourse.
I did appreciate the post from him because it is important to live your life for God and others first. Of course we matter as well so we can't neglect what we personally are going through. Now I started this post with the word, "I" but it was not a glorification of myself.

Please take discussions regarding religion and God to a different forum.

Offer Siakam, Mathurin, and Toppin for the Bucks power forward (I don’t know how to spell his name). The salaries should be close. Re-sign Turner x 3 years.

It’s not the right forum. Not everyone believes the same as you. Yell it at your church or home as loud as you want.

Friend I actually can see your point. On this forum there shouldn't be pro or negative religious talk.

Lillard is playing tonight

Pacers are fun to watch, if you don't normally watch NBA. Share the ball, play fast, few turnovers, unselfish, balanced scoring, good shooting, not hero ball dependent

Haliburton just hit a layup and pointed to a hot ass big breasted blonde sitting in the 2nd row by the basket, is that his woman, having a 220-mil contract has its advantage's.

I hope I'm wrong, but if Lillard stays healthy, I think the bucks win this series, they definitely need to hold on here tonight, damn they are talented, Carlise is 10x the coach Rivers is

On the subject of Indy sports teams-Pat McAfee embarrassed the entire Colts Organization by getting choked out so easily. What a wimp. Payton would have knocked that guy on his baseball cards.
