Dezmon Briscoe just de-committed from Iowa amid their coaching change. Forward from Crispus Attucks playing in the 3A title game Saturday. Not highly rated but had a respectable offer list at one point. Was previously offered by DeVries at West Virginia. Played AAU on Indy Elite with Sisley, Mullins, etc

I don’t care about a players rating. If he was recruited by DeVries at one point, then that’s a kid I think coach would still want.
Obviously he saw something in him that made Coach try and recruit him.

The most logical HS recruits would be decommits from coaching changes. DeVries had 2 CA kids, one of which was Don McLean's son, who we played against at UCLA and a HS teammate of his that was supposed to be a dog, and both decommitted when DD left. Be surprised if we don't get either of them or any other WVU portal entries.

Thx for the info. I like that kid a lot. He is a scorer more than a shooter. In fact Robinson is the all time leading scorer at Lawrence North. Lots of great players came through there so it is a real accomplishment.
