Zeisloft and Hoetzel off the bench. Like the "threetonic teusome" or something.

Zeisloft .... he's sooooo serious all the time, rarely smiles. He's the Angry German.

Hoetzel the Pretzel ........ looks like he belongs in 9th grade, really, but with killer confidence and swagger like Billy (Hoetzel) The Kid or Baby Face (Hoetzel) Nelson

Not suggesting them as nicknames, just observations. I'm thrilled to death we have both of them.

Sorta. My daughter took one look at Blackman's hair

streak and said he looked like a comic book hero or villain. She came up with "Dr. Apex." You know, touched with Neutron Fire and endowed with Special Powers.

And once she heard of Zeisloft . . . well she though that the perfect henchman to Dr. Apex would be named Mr. Zeisloft.

"As Dr. Apex hurried away from the burning laboratory, Mr. Zeisloft held the car door open for him . . . ."

She's a bit of a genius.

Although I think we need some title for Zeisloft as well. Perhaps he was former military recruited by Dr. Apex.

Maybe, Colonel Zeisloft.

Good point . . . perhaps not such a good choice. haha *

Can we all just grow up.

A good nickname occurs naturally, the suggestions for Zeisloft and Hoetzel really sound forced. In fact they sound like something someone at U of L or UK would invent for one of their players.

And a word of caution: Nicknames like "the angry German" or "Colonel Zeisloft" are going to offend some people beyond the point that they are just dumb.

Re: Can we all just grow up.

Giving players nick names reminds me of something PU fans do...
