Archie just needed his own players at URI. He will be very solid there. He will improve a little bit every season there. He isnt some dumbass, he was just in over his head at IU and the covid mess set him back to square one and couldnt dig out of it.

His personality was completely mismatched for the IU “fishbowl” and imo Glass should’ve been able to see that.

But then, it appears that Miller isn’t the only coach whose personality may be a mismatch for IU.

Dayton and Rhode Island are perfect programs for guys like Archie. I remember when he was hired I thought for sure it was going to be Alford then hearing the news I was like this might be a great hire or terrible hire and we all know how it went. Woodson was a absolute shock never seen that coming never wanted him and it's been a shit show. So now hopefully this time we hire a great coach that has a personality gets Indiana and only cares about winning..

after crean, i know i wanted a coach who spoke less/coached more.

his brother getting in trouble didn't help anything either.

I had seen that Rhode Island was 9-0 going into their game against Brown a couple nights ago. I actually found that game on some ESPN outlet, most likely The Ocho.

It looked all to familiar to me. Really ugly game in which RI had the lead for almost the entire game. Wheels came off at the end.... All too familiar. Looked really reminiscent of the 2018-2019 season. IU had a lot of games like that.
