Why do people think we know anything about UFO's? If UFO's have come here from another world outside our solar system, their tech is SO far beyond ours that it is hard to imagine we've learned anything more than, "there's one, oops, there was one". Same if they crossed over from a parallel universe. We are the monkeys trying to figure out what the noise was from a jet breaking the sound barrier.
I use chimps for a reason, watch the Neil DeGrasse Tyson video below where he says we may well be as ignorant to an alien as the Hubble Space Telescope is to a Chimp.
