If finances are any sort of driver here, would guess Beard is being heavily considered. His past makes his likely salary a bargain versus the caliber of coach he is. And since firing him would almost certainly be due to some sort of repeated transgression, and not on court results…the risks there are negligent too.

I wouldnt take those risks. But when guys like Stevens and May are out…???
