Had seen that he had been giving out his IU credentials/field passes to football games to other people (have seen video of this)
If just a one time thing, maybe not a fireable offense, but if a recurrent thing or he had been doing so in exchange for cash, it probably would have escalated to one
Maybe he pulled a Fife and went another way the other night? Rumors I tell ya! Thats what I heard. Didnt bring much except Miller Kopp type joy hype.
We'll see when something official comes out if it ever does.

If it’s for recruiting misses, the rest of those empty suits need to pack up too.
Somebody has to take the fall our recruiting sucks. I still belive it's the system why kids don't want to come but none of these guys can recruit.

I know you are just passing on "information" but WTH would Woodson want those two separated?
Woodson seems to be quite fragile if someone questions him.

I’m pretty sure Adam Howard doesn’t matter. Also pretty sure on who Woody is at this point.

I just wish Woody would retire, but know that his 4.2M salary will lead him to hold on until 2027. He has proven all of our initial concerns to be correct. Knowing our luck, he will underachieve this year, but do just enough to retain his position. With our brand and blank-check NIL contributions, a good coach would dominate the B1G.
Given Dolson's rumored coup attempt last March, and the revised contract that Dolson had Woody sign in August of 2023 (potentially replacing the buyout amount with an annual $1M payment), I take some solace in knowing that the athletic department will get this done sooner than later.
Football is the focus right now but if I’m a betting man woody is on the clock this year(not surprising). IU as a brand is better than many think. Especially since Dolson and whitten are on the same page.
Dolson's never going to have more cred than this year with Cig, especially if he's able to keep him. If he's not sold on Woody, and we're not B10 champs and in the S16, he should have the chops to do it this year, or he really is neutered.
For sure. Cig has made Dolson more powerful. Maybe Dolson couldn’t fire woody last year like was rumored. I promise he will get fired this year if he doesn’t shape up.
I do find it hilarious on peegs how Fatjohns and the sea of losers are crying over this loss. The one guy on staff that gave Fatjohns info is gone. Lol. I wouldn’t be shocked if woody fired him because he was giving fatty info. Woody for sure is petty like that and hates peegs and The hysterics.
It still looks bad. Especially since he was offered another spot in the athletic department. I think it’s not going to hurt the team but the optics aren’t great.
The IU HC job has been very lucrative for Mike. He was probably making around $1M/yr as an NBA assistant. He likely wasn't getting another NBA head coaching job since several interviews didn't work out. The IU contract will get him something like $15M+ more vs what he was going to get in the NBA as an assistant.
As for Adam Howard, I don't know what happened, it's not the end of the world, but it's not a good thing.

None came here in 25' class, Im sure he was a part of the reason. Or wait is that Sisley kid from IN? I don't care at all about this stuff if you can't tell. Nothing matters with woody till about June in the off-season.
I felt like Howard's relationship with the Morenos was a large part of his position. The idea being to give Walsh more help. The last move before firing a legacy coach is to make staff changes. If this is followed by a bench coach or two it would be a heat indicator. I would say that it's just another Woody moment though.
Hopefully him and Fife can meet up at a solid Mid Major job?
Some people are saying Scott offered Adam another job in the athletic dept. Interesting if true.
If he only wants yes men, why not get rid of his assistants, hire a few GAs, and save a bunch on salaries?

The thing about losing players and having to rebuild goes out the window these days with the portal and NIL. Therefore, firing a coach is not as difficult except for any buyouts
disagree. Complete rebuild is difficult for any coach/team. Losing older players and trying to refill every year is a Vegas odds game. No matter how good you are, eventually you will lose big time
And this is also college ball — there is always roster turnover and now more than ever. Coaches have to integrate new key players quickly to be successful, it’s just the nature of it.
Nothing offical coming out. Howard won’t say anything and Woodson won’t because it will show what he is.
Howard’s revenge might be going to Michigan and recruiting Indiana HS kids to Michigan with May.
