How is Ky fans flipping? Kid have you not seen what Ky has coming in? No its IU fans flipping. Ky is just fine. IU is losing out to a guy who coached HS two years ago. IUs fans can only say they are getting paid. Lol. Maybe. But your coach learned from the best how to get players. And he still cant. This is a tough one, Penny developed a name for himself in the pros, and as an AAU coach so the guys actually like him. He has connections with these AAU players that he may not have in two or three years. It might be possible that Memphis isn't paying but was able to lure these guys in because of their coaching staff connections.

This may be the new model for getting a jump start when hiring a new college coach. Grab a former pro, that coaches AAU, bring other staff with NBA coaching experience and sell these kids that you can get them to the NBA.
