Robinson has only committed four tos in BIG games and only 19 this season in 199 minutes of playing time. Believe it or not!

Its not just how many, but also 'when' he turns it over

The turnover right before the half yesterday was one of the worst possible. He then let his man drive from half court for a 3 point play. That killed. However, I still don't know why Crean subbed him in with a minute to go to even allow that scenario to happen.

Stats don't show everything

I consider an ill advised shot or a heavily defended drive to the basket as a turnover. These types of shots are even worse when they lead to an easy basket on the other end of the court. I have never seen a stat for mental mistakes like two players running at a shooter and giving a wide open dunk to a player under the basket.

Another example is a crazy layup that ends with our player on the ground tangled up with the cheerleaders and photographers. If the ball gets up the court quickly it can lead to a basket on the other end.

The stats showed that Williams was 4 / 4. He also committed 1/3 of our 15 turnovers. Assuming we are scoring at about 1 point per possession, that is 5 points he gave up by himself. Add a poor defensive performance to that and one person can do a lot of damage.
