Hell, I love basketball but that doesn’t mean anything. Pretty sure 99.9% of D1 basketball players love basketball.

Uh……you forgot the IU choke factor in this. That is the only 100% lock with this team. They are a guaranteed choke.

I put $30 on Ohio State ML at +400 (as an emotional hedge) when we had the ball up 4 in the closing minutes.
Thought I had a chance of hitting both the IU +6.5 and the OSU live bet. Never thought I’d lose the IU bet while winning the live OSU bet.
…..that defense in overtime tonight was phenomenal. I think they call it “The Matador?” Looked about as effective as the vaunted Packline.

Hey Bailey, no worries. I’ve been chewed up and spit out several times this year for sticking my neck out for this team but I’m losing hope unfortunately. I don’t see us making the tourney and there’s simply no excuse for it. Add to that, Woody is not impressing anyone with his X’s and O’s at the moment. Some want to only blame the players but we all know that’s never the case. Especially when those same players put us in a position to win tonite with a minute to go in reg. Still bitter about this one.

Tamar certainly has a way to go, but I would start him over Kopp every game going forward. Tamar is the future, we have seen Kopp's ceiling.
One positive is that it was obvious the best lineup last night was Scoop, Parker, X, TJD, Race.
Miller hit 2 shots and it was prob his best stretch of the season. But when he is throwing a careless pass that gets picked and then a pass at TJDs ankle the next possession, got to question why the hell he is out there.
Yeah, I like Miller as a young man but we have seen his ceiling have yet to see anything close to Tamar's ceiling.
This is a bridge season, play him and let him develop.

Is now a good time to ask if you'd like to double our pre season wager on who goes farther this year, Hoosiers or Boilers?
To me, Bates plays small. He can shoot (sometimes), especially the mid-range jumper. His 3 pt shot is only average. For a 6'5" guy he's only average, at best, as a rebounder. He has trouble finishing around the rim. He's no better than average as a defender or ball handler. The Branham kid from OSU is also listed as 6'5" but looks and plays much taller.
That said, he's a far better option than Kopp. Zero Kopp going forward, unless every other option is hurt or suspended.
