actually, cheap compared to most things. got to pay Woodson 7 mil to retire they need the revenue

The price of any ticket is absurd now you cannot go to a pro football game for less than 300 a ticket it seems. That is why I watch from home or a bar.
I always assumed it was because no reasonable human being wanted to be around you, heading to the barnstable party
and then the fans act entitled and rain boos on the players and coaches.... and then the coaches and players complain about the fans...and then the players transfer and the coaches ask for MORE money so they can pay the entitled players....and then there are empty seats because if the fans "are gonna pay this much I at least want a good seat".... and then the team loses home court advantage due to medicore attendance (UCLA, USC)... and then the administrators hire new coaches who can win because "this is Indiana".
And then the idiot posters on message boards forget all about what IU basketball used to be, and instead start talking about who we can buy and how much we can pay to get some random kid from Elon or SMU or North Texas to come to "It's Indiana".
NCAA is a make believe organization run by vultures and make believe adults, refusing to regulate the sport for the good of the future.

"College" basketball is now a professional sport with no player contracts and each player is for sale. As viewers we now have to pay the Peacocks of the world as well.
Really they need to tier basketball. Pretty insane you charge C3 and A35 the same. I obviously buy and sell tickets. The good tickets have been too cheap for too long, but donors will argue they have spent years donating and accumulating priory points.

It is an odd model. But god bless those old people. My Grandparents were some of those people, and I poach tickets every year from folks that have had tickets since the 70's and don't want to go to half the games.
That might be a lot for some of the preconference games or games during the holidays but it evens out. It’s not a lot for a Purdue or MIchigan State game. You can sell one set of tickets to games like that and pay for most of the season.
My son said he was thinking about getting IU fb season ticket. Think donation is like $2000 not counting tickets . Thought he said around $6-7,000. His doctor friend is gonna help get him on the list.
No way that is right. IU football season tickets have never sold out. Unless this year did and Im not aware of it, Id be shocked tho.
