hopefully presuming 20 wins means an NCAA
birth? but not guaranteed.... I'm keeping my previous predictions the
same... although some of you suggested I change a couple of these....

L at Ohio State
L at Purdue
W Rutgers
L at Wisconsin
W Michigan
L at Maryland
M Minnesota
W Purdue
M at Rutgers
M at Northwestern
M Iowa
W Michigan State

4 W's 4 Maybe's 4 L's

Dude relax and enjoy!! Who cares right now, we are playing good ball, if that continues the wins will come!

If we split your Maybe's. that is 6. I think we win one

of the next two. Just depends if we can keep scoring and we continue our D. Purdue is the best bet, I expect Hammons to have a career game. Keep Stephens from going off and Hammons in low dbl digits, we should be okay. Don't let anyone else go off. Hayes will be worn down by half-time.

Shouldn't we win the Minnesota and Iowa home games ?

Also, we'll have a chance to win 2-3 more games in the Big Ten Tourney (in addition to the regular season).

Surely we should move beyond counting 5 more wins at this point

I know we have a tough stretch coming up and we still need to prove we can consistently beat good/decent teams on the road but that win at Illinois I think is going to be huge for us in terms of confidence. I don't see us losing more than 1 game at home. And we may not lose any. The only games I think are highly probably losses are @ WISC and @MARY.

Do we really expect to lose at Purdue? I know we very well might but I expect to go in their and win because we are a better team. And I certainly expect to win at Rutgers & Northwestern.

To me a 20 win season should be considered an off year.... We are Indiana. We should expect 25 wins a year.

20 wins will not get us in

But, IU should be a lock at this point, barring any epic collapse. Will be top 20 team come next week. A 5 or 6 seed may be earned.

They should win 8 more regular season games

If you change your M's to W's. Of course they will lose one or two they shouldn't and may win one or two they shouldn't.

I see them winning 8 more regular season games.

I'm not so sure about that. I think we're in pretty good shape

even if we only finish with 20. The issue is that the bubble (as it has been since the expansion to 68 teams) is extremely soft. I was playing around with some bracket numbers and was struggling to even find more than two teams that would be in the "first four out" let along the "next four out."

The SEC is a mess, because for all intents and purposes, it's UK and the 13 dwarfs. ARK and UGA are likely to get in, but beyond that there's a lot of mediocrity and ineptitude. The Pac-12 is just as bad--they might only get three in themselves (ARIZ, UTAH and STAN). And I don't see any mid-major conferences getting more than one in (I don't consider the Missouri Valley or the A-10 to be mid-majors).

So we're battling primarily with middling high-major teams (SYR in the ACC, MICH in the B1G, DEP/XAV in the Big East, KSU in the B12, BYU/SMC in the WCC, CSU in the MWC, TLSA/TEM/CONN in the AAC, and the logjam in the SEC--ALA/TENN/A&M/MISS/LSU). I think our resume compares favorably to all of those teams even if we stumble a bit. Obviously I hope we don't, but we've built up some equity with the wins over MD/BUT/SMU and two true road wins [some teams would kill to be 3-3 in R/N games]). Was our OOC sked soft? Sure. But that is a black mark amidst a sea of white marks.
