birth? but not guaranteed.... I'm keeping my previous predictions the
same... although some of you suggested I change a couple of these....

Even I as the eternal pessimist won't say we finish 2-6.

The only lead pipe lock game we lose is Maryland. The rest are winnable. Doesn't mean we'll win them all, and I don't think we'll lose them all. Home cooking makes that much of a difference.

Forget matchups. Intangibles win games as much as matchups--otherwise we never would've beaten Maryland or OSU at home.

But the numbers say it's a pretty even game. PU is a slightly better team, and we get the home court advantage, but we were reminded tonight what size does to us. If PU's big guys have even a remotely good game, we're toast.

Michigan and minn at home are no easy games. Both are lossable as are at rutgers and northwestern. We might go 3-5.

Tonight's games so far have actually boosted our chances. We beat expectations against Wiscy by about 1.8 points, and for some reason, the Neb game gave us a SOS bonus.

MICH is 3-6 away from Crisler (and also has a bunch of losses in Crisler).

IND is 13-1 at home. Winning in Bloomington will not be easy for either MICH or MINN.

That would have made more sense if you meant "6 total."

You're nuts if you think Purdue and MSU are guaranteed. And between UM, Minny and Iowa, winning all three is extremely unlikely (there is a 30.01% chance we win all three).

Odds are this team wins 5 more games - but I wouldn't count on it.

If I remember right you thought the best this team could do was 7 wins in conference total and would be 2-6 after first 8. So before the year you though we would win 5 of last eight, but since we over performed in the first eight games, now we will only win 1 or 2 of the last 8? Consistency is not your strong suite when it does not fit your agenda is it?
