2nd team out per Lunardi

3-1 for sure gets us in unless crazy conference champs happen.

Would be good if OSU won some games as well and got in (besides us)
Ohio st is 15-13 and their net is 35, makes no sense. if we beat them again, I don't see how the committee could take them over us, even though we probably have no chance to catch them in NET.

Just looked at OSU remaining schedule, they could easily, lose the next 3, all quad 1s, wonder what that would do to their net, if it remained in the 40s would the committee put in a team with a losing record

Georgia had big win vs #3 Florida. They are likely in NCAA now
Bubble Teams per Lunardi...and what they did since his last iteration (Yesterday Morning), or games soon...

In order...

West Virginia... beat TCU by 18 at home... solidifies their position
Texas... They play at Arkansas tonight... big game for 2 teams currently "ahead" of IU
SDSU... Beat New Mexico... solidifies their position
Ohio State... They play tonight at USC... probably better, overall, if they win
Nebraska... Played Monday, so their loss to Michigan is already baked in to them being "ahead" of us
Oklahoma... Play tonight at home against Kentucky... I'll root for an Oklahoma loss...not a Kentucky win
Arkansas... Play tonight at home against Texas... with Arkansas being closer to us, I'd say Texas winning is better
Wake Forest... Play tonight at home against UVa...obviously them losing would be helpful
North Carolina... Their win at FSU Monday night is baked in to them being one slot ahead of us
INDIANA
SMU... They play at Cal tonight...obviously helpful if they'd lose
Xavier... Huge game Saturday hosting Creighton...need them to lose, obviously
Boise State... They play at home tonight against Utah State... big game, need them to lose
Georgia... Beat Florida last night...probably would push them ahead of IU, and in to the field, at this point
George Mason... They play at home against Fordham tonight... loss would eliminate them, win won't help them much
Villanova... They play tonight at Seton Hall... loss would probably eliminate them, win would help, but not push them above IU

So...just a guess...

Georgia probably played themselves in front of IU with their Florida win. Either Texas or Arkansas will lose tonight, and drop back a little bit. Ohio State could drop down a little bit if they lose to USC. Oklahoma could drop down if they lose to Kentucky. Assuming IU wins tonight, I'd say they'll still be in the "First Four Out"...

I’m worried about all 4 games left- Penn State has won two straight, and I’m guessing Leal and Galloway have been celebrating the big win over Purdue since Sunday. I think we could go 0-4 or 3-1. We will see.

The more I think about this game...the less I'm convinced we'll win tonight.

Ballo and Mack dominated the last game...will they even be in the main lineup tonight?

Ace Baldwin had a very uncharacteristically poor game against us last time.

They shot 3-21 from the 3 against us last time, and it certainly wasn't because we played defense like we did in the 2nd half Sunday. They missed A LOT of open looks, that they often make, especially against IU.

We "should" beat them. But I won't be shocked, at all, if we don't.

would be a crushing defeat. I wouldn't be shocked either. biggest thing I think Woodson has learned is if MM isn't making shots and playing half ass D, sit him

we are such a bi polar group.....i was drowning in apathy 4 days ago. Now I sorta, kinda...give a shit again.

win tonight, yes.
Lose tonight, pretty much done with bubble talk.
Survive and advance. Our tourney begins tonight.

We have the picture perfect team for one of Rice, MM, or Tucker to magically become the best player in the big ten. I mean give me a dead cat bounce damnit. MM and Tucker are freaking burger boys. Play like one for a month damnit. Tucker needs to just start dunking on people and playing good D. I wish someone could come in and motivate them. Sure looks like they can’t do it themselves. But ass meets bench does funny things to dudes….. I still have hope a monster comes out in one of these guys.

It cuts the margin down to the bare minimum, true, but if they win the next 4 after that I think they are 95-99% sure of getting in.
not sure....we have no bad losses...all Ls are Q1. Tonight would be a very 'bad" loss.
Maybe winning at Oregon would make up for it. Who knows, the NET math is funky. We're still sitting on a razor thin margin.

I do for Tucker, hopefully...maybe. I saw MM's face on Sunday and it said. "I'm outta here" the entire game.

Things can change quick when you are 19. 100k check cashing helps motivate too. Who knows what that dude is thinking for sure.

We have to remember IU is paying him more than he has ever seen probably bi weekly.

will be telling to see his role, and energy, in tonight's game.
Could play 30min+ and score 20, and actually move a little on defense....could ride the pine and mope. Or maybe something in between.

I think Gallo, your BFF Leal ( :) ) and possibly Goode (depending on his med redshirt appeal) know they are down to the final 2 games in the Hall. No excuse not to leave it all on the court. And maybe they are personally motivated to get to the tourney after the senior night comments they made last year. I would damn well hope so.

Carlyle was a McD AA as well, right?

I think we had three high school All Americans sitting on the bench while Leal, Galloway, Goode, a former cancer patient, and two bigs in rotation played the whole second half for a dead man walking coach and dismantled a ranked team in a rivalry game, beating them by 27 points in 20 minutes.

This was awesome, but also madness, and a perfect example of why Woodson is getting retired at the end of the season.

Is Tucker hurt? Or just not getting in games?

This thread right here is a perfect example of why IU is still a blue blood. Look at the last two years, we are on a lame-duck coach but we are all still hanging onto the fact that a little spurt would get us into the tournament. If they win out, AH would be ROCKIN' the last game, hoards of fans would go to the BTT and bars would be filled to the brim with NCAA excitement. IU basketball has the most loyal fans in the country and after all we have had heaped on us the past 20+ years, we are always on the verge of erupting. One win against Purdue and all of a sudden peeps are paying attention to the basketball instead of the coaching search.
