Quran Hafiz, a 3-star cornerback from Jacksonville, Fla. who is verbally committed to Iowa State, told me tonight he will be taking an official visit to IU on Oct. 1.

Just basically want to go out and see what they have to offer... But I would say the coaching staff stands out the most. I like them a lot.
Hafiz has held an IU offer since Feb. 18.
