Let's be even more honest . . .You really don't know what IU cares about. You have an opinion but it's just that, an opinion. At best it's an educated guess. I don't think he knows what "profit" is. Revenues - expenditures is complicated cyphering for some people . . .What were the expenditures? The $123 million in revenue is great (less than much of our Big Ten competition though) but it is worthless to the discussion. The operating profit is the number you are looking for.
I agree . . . if you don't like my opinion discard it. But I never stated that disagreeing with my opinion is being "dishonest."As can be said for your opinion and anyone else who ventures to enter the fray of person opinion message boards.

Right but $7 mil was too much to spend on Crean buyout!!! What a twilight zone episode this is.We made a profit before the $60 mil+ PER YEAR BTN money started rolling in. But things must be tight now. That’s how we afford to spend tens of millions on non athletic buildings around campus.
How many sports do we play at negative revenue funded by football and basketball teams, I think all the rest.We made a profit before the $60 mil+ PER YEAR BTN money started rolling in. The exact same number of sports we ran every single year before the BTN money started pouring in.How many sports do we play at negative revenue funded by football and basketball teams, I think all the rest.
