    Even with Ware he didn't do much at Oregon, and most were concerned about his motor and toughness. There are none of those questions with Ballo.

    I was in the same boat, very critical of his recruiting strategy but he's landed pretty much everyone he's wanted while bringing all the key players back. We'll see If he can win big or not but with the talent we have they should at least make a sweet 16.

    With the talent around them you have to think they'll be wide open an awful lot. I know many here don't like Woodson's system but IU will be hard to guard just on talent alone.

    I'm all for getting on Woodson when it's warranted, but no coach ever gets 100% of the players they offer. Especially when you consider we can't really offer a starting position right now.

    At the end of the day it doesn't even matter if it cost 5 million, it only matters who we land. IU's NIL will always have money which it's looking like will always keep IU relevant, at least on the recruiting trail.

    Honestly this doesn't really matter to me, we'll find someone else. Was never really that high on him. Now the big guy is incredibly important and is an absolute must. I'd offer him 2 million if that's what it takes.

    I know but it isn't the way to win, that's why I'm hoping that Woody's hand gets forced into it. Having to play the 4 is part of the reason MR was constantly in foul trouble last year.
