Indiana is still waiting on a few decisions in regards to its roster.
The two biggest are Race Thompson and Trayce Jackson-Davis. From what I've been able to gather, I wouldn't be shocked if one of them is back. Both have potential reasons to return but also leave so right now they are planning out their future and trying to figure out what works best. It's either pro/leave college or come back to Indiana -- the transfer portal is obviously not an issue here.
As I've said prior, unless something crazy happens, Xavier Johnson and Miller Kopp will be back.

2023
Miro Little announced that his college announcement date will be April 15. He took visits to Baylor, Villanova and Indiana.
Indiana and Baylor have been the top two teams in this recruitment but this will be Baylor unless something unexpected happens. Dane Fife was the lead recruiter here so his leave didn't help -- but it was already a Baylor lean to begin with.
Indiana already has two guard commitments in 2023 with Gabe Cupps and Jakai Newton so this doesn't necessarily hurt Indiana too much. Obviously Little is a terrific player but Indiana is pretty set in its backcourt for now.

There were some rumors that 2023 four-star forward
Coen Carr would potentially be making his announcement soon. I spoke with him earlier today and that's not the case.
Carr still hasn't set up any additional visits after his Indiana official visit, however.
His relationship with assistant coach Yasir Rosemond is very big in this recruitment. Indiana's ability to retain him was a significant moment. If it wasn't, that would be a big hurdle for Indiana's chances.
Indiana continues to sit in a good spot here.

As for 2022 five-star forward
Malik Reneau, this one is expected to be between Miami (Fla), Indiana and Georgia. I am told Florida State is out -- mainly due to its staff not being fully on board.
Reneau is planning on some visits after Montverde's season is over -- which will be in the next few days. I would expect Indiana to get a visit in mid-April.
Weather is a big issue with Reneau and obviously that can change depending on when you visit, but I have been told by more than one person that it's a huge deal to him. He's from Miami and not only is the in-state draw big, but the weather is a factor here too.

Continuing on the 2022 front, Centerville (OH) wing
Rich Rolf will be visiting Indiana on April 15 for an unofficial.
Rolf is teammates of 2023 commit Gabe Cupps.
Rolf would be a preferred walk-on for Indiana for his freshman season and is someone to keep an eye on.
He did just receive an offer from Miami (OH) and new head coach Travis Steele. There is a potential for Rolf to play spring AAU to see if he can stir up any additional interest from mid-majors and high-majors.
Rolf visited Indiana unofficially for its senior night this year.
Here is more on Rolf:

On that transfer front, Indiana had reached out to Ball State transfer
Payton Sparks. As I relayed last week, I was told if Indiana pushed it would be hard to beat but with Ball State's hire of Michael Lewis, that could be something to keep an eye on.
Today, Sparks announced he would be staying with Ball State.
Kansas State transfer guard
Nijel Pack entered the transfer portal this week. Don't expect Indiana to be a factor here. With Xavier Johnson and Jalen Hood-Schifino, Indiana is looking to pair those players in the backcourt. Pack needs to play with the ball in his hands and that wouldn't be ideal with Johnson also needing the ball in his hands. This one has Purdue written all over it.
