It's been a quiet week after the busy last few weeks of Indiana players entering the transfer portal.
As we've discussed here are how the decisions of some of the remaining players stand:
Xavier Johnson / Miller Kopp - expected back
Jordan Geronimo - should be back but more up in the air than what was maybe expected
Race Thompson - 50/50
Trayce Jackson-Davis - go through NBA Draft process and evaluate options --> retuning to Indiana much more likely than it was at the beginning of the year of a few months ago. His decision will be last and won't likely come for quite a while.
Here are the NBA Draft dates you need to know:
April 24 at 11:59 pm ET - Early entry deadline
May 16-22 - NBA Combine
June 1 - NCAA deadline for college players to withdraw and retain eligibility

As for the transfer portal, there are numerous names floating around out there. Here is a list that TheHoosier.com has confirmed contact from Indiana.
Murray State forward
Johni Broome
West Virginia guard
Sean McNeil
Central Michigan guard
Cameron Healy
Wichita State wing
Dexter Dennis
Your core three to focus on here are Broome, McNeil and Dennis.
Dexter Dennis is the newest name. Most of the staff has reached out to him in one way or another -- he's expected to have another call with Mike Woodson today.
Dennis averaged 8.4 points per game on 35 percent shooting and 29.7 percent from three last year. The 6-foot-5, 210-pound wing is a very versatile defender and normally a very consistent three-point shooter. He shot 40 percent on 3.9 3s attempted per game as a freshman, and 34 percent on 5.2 3's attempted per game over the next two years.
Dennis on IU's message: 'They believe the system they run can help me and their team. I’ll have the ability to play in a solid role on offense and on defense guarding the best player. They haven’t promised me anything but an opportunity and I think that says a lot. This impressed me'
Dennis on playing at Assembly Hall + initial impression: 'We played Indiana my freshman year in the NIT and it was one of the biggest crowds I ever played in front of. My initial is impression is a place that has a lot of support from the fans, a very rich tradition and history. The staff has done a great job of showing me the love they have for IU, and I was impressed.'
Still early on, but programs such as LSU, West Virginia, Virginia, Georgia Tech, Iowa State, NC State, Clemson, Wake Forest and more have reached out.
I would keep an eye on Dennis.
Here are some additional names that have reported IU contact.
Ole Miss guard
Luis Rodriguez
Arkansas State forward
Norchad Omier
There will be many more names tossed out there so we will continue to sift through names and names that are legit options.

On the recruiting front, all signs continue to point to Montverde 2022 forward
Malik Reneau visiting Indiana late April or early May. The Jordan Brand Classic takes place April 15, so look for after that for a visit to be set.
Reneau talked to Rivals national writer Rob Cassidy earlier this week.
Here is what Cassidy said regarding Reneau's recruitment:
"Indiana, Georgia and Florida State are the programs to watch most closely unless something changes. Reneau was, of course, committed to UGA’s current staff when it was in place at Florida. He’s originally from South Florida, and Miami was one of his finalists when he committed the first time. The Indiana relationship is somewhat new, but Reneau’s teammate, Jalen Hood-Schifino, could help the five-star big man feel comfortable in Bloomington. That fact Reneau seems to have decided to visit is also a step in the right direction for the Hoosiers."
Miami is very much an option and has been a team you could consider in the lead for the majority of this but I am told the longer this drags on, the better chances for a school like Indiana.
More:
Five-star Malik Reneau is a recruiting free agent once again and plans to take a visit or two in the coming weeks.

2023 Montverde forward
KJ Evans named his top 5 programs this week including Indiana, Oregon, Auburn, UCLA and Kentucky.
Evans has no visit set to Indiana despite a lot of talk about two months ago.
He has visited Kentucky so far and is expected to visit Oregon either this weekend or next.
I wouldn't get too excited about Evans and Indiana until he actually steps foot on campus. Oregon and Kentucky are the two strongest here and will remain that way -- even more now with those two programs holding the only two visits he's taken.
Here's more:
2023 five-star forward KJ Evans has trimmed his list to five programs.
