On my unofficial depth chart I have Bray Lynch backed up by William Larkins,
Carpenter never seemed to be “Michigan quality” in his time at IU.
I expected a more dominant lineman with him but, then again, he had the OL savant coaching him early on with Hiller.

My guess is we won't miss a beat at center with Bray Lynch taking over. That kid is tuff.
Did he play this year? He redhirted previous year? But I don't see any info?
He was a good recruit, had other good offers, and he's a big boy! Sounds great! Second year under Bostad too.
Hopefully, Bostad has enough development in with the likes of Bray Lynch, Will Larkins, Bubba Jeffries, Austin Barrett, Cooper Jones….because we’re going to need them to step up.
I'm just ticked because it took us half a season to teach him how to actually snap it all the way back to the QB and another half a season to finally teach him how to be a serviceable blocker. We finally get him to the point where he'd really be able to help us consistently and he bails... 😖
