but there were several game changing chances by our defensive backs to make tackles behind or at the line of scrimmage and their execution was almost laughable. #14 (Brown?) was especially noticeable as he couldn't even lay a hand on the ball carrier numerous times when he had a chance. Several of these ended up being big plays which would have stopped drives. The entire defense collapsed in the last quarter and we can't continue to blame it on the fact that this kid or that kid is a true or red shirt Freshman. Sooner or later you have to stick your head in there and make contact.
