What happened to IU's pitching?

Starting pitching has been absymal, pen has been great. Confidence, plain and simple. They need to get some early inning confidence. Another thing, pitching too much to contact. Your not going to get good hitters out in the zone.

As a guy that threw in the mid (I'd like to say high) 80s..
You have to live and die on the corners.
I am not sure I ever threw a ball across the middle of the plate.
If I had my way, I wouldn't ever throw a true strike.
It looks to me as though our guys are trying to overpower the opposing batters with straight stuff. That is not going to work, no matter how hard you throw.
As Lew mentioned, they just need some confidence.
